My days start with managing 6 email accounts as best as I can on top of other non art obligations. It usually takes me from 9am to 2pm to get most of it done. Sometimes later. It isn’t particularly hard, the issue is tracking your tasks and multitasking. There is literally never a time I can just do 1 thing. And when I am doing 1 thing I wonder if I should be doing 2…
That being said it’s far better than having an ignorant boss making you draw for out of touch clients.

Thank you very much, I spend about 7h on the last one, 3h alone getting the sketch right ^^’ I also did spend quite some time recently on foreshortening and training to imagine things at an angle. Maybe I make a digital version of what I did on paper, my first ever own tutorial or such :x
Nonono Vexin! You’re getting it wrong, you need to wrap up the presents FOR the birthdaypony, not the birthdaypony himself!

Strangely enough Obsidian doesn’t seem to mind at all or being in the least puzzled, hmmmmm…
You may be wondering why I’m so inactive compared to a couple months ago. Well I’ve got anxiety issues with my quality of art, mostly not liking it very much and this issues result in sketching over sketching and not being happy with it.
This is what I did the past 4h or so ^^’

And I bet you folks would want a close up of the “target” Of course only to guarantee that the quality of Hobbs’ safety cushions was of highest standards :x
Occasionally if i’m going to do something large and i don’t feel like messing it all up by sketching and erasing a lot, i’ll blow up a thumbnail in photoshop and then transfer the rough pose onto the actual paper i’ll be working on so i can skip some of the rough sketching.
It’s an extra step that is extra work, but in a way it saves some work too. Thumbnail sketches almost always look great, whereas fullsize sketches sometimes fail utterly and end up fucked up proportion-wise. XD
Vexin doesn’t only brew potions, no! She’s also an inventor and invented the
Meerkat-apult!
She found a willing test subject in Hobbs which accepted to be the first meerkat to be launched by rubber bands.
Of course safety is the #1 rule for every experiment Vexin does so they decided that Scarlet is to provide the “safety cushions” needed for a soft landing of the brave Hobbs!
