A played around with doing hair, since the picture before looked a little bit plain despite the light effects. Not really what I’m looking for either, need to lurk on more talented tumblrs and see how they do hair.
Inspiration struck me ._. Or maybe RPing, well some of both. Did I say that I really like it, when somebody comes to me with a nice idea to draw?
Look at this, this happens, when somebody actually does so and I even got the permission to draw Ying and Yang in their Prom dresses which I think I’ll do next. Lets see, I’m jumpy when it comes to inspiration ^^.

My craving for doing naughty things has been sated and I should look for some things to improve my art again, maybe getting more to digital art (which is more wrist friendly anyway).

But I do want to learn shading and I must say I like how it went. There’re way better artists who can actually shade with graphite, but for my level of skill I’m quite satisfied ^^ I need to learn more though, but it’s a start. I hope bad art day is over now, and I’m curious what my next drawing would look like.

You know why I don’t draw woman from the front? Because they look like freaking men with the broad shoulders and wide necks. I should actually learn how curves work and fragile anatomy. Maybe going back and drawing nice round pony butts will help me *sigh*
Maybe I should just learn how to shade and my pictures would actually look like something?

But since I was at my parents home, far away from a tablet and only with pencils and rubber armed I decided to make at least a little something for them before I get started at my main blog answering those questions.

You know that I was visiting my parents right? And I was going to the zoo together with my sister, trying to draw “wildlife” animals.
You know what the main trait of animals is?
They move when you start to draw them in one pose ._.
Nonetheless here you go with a few real time drawings/quick sketches of animals ^^
Bear: Fisrt picture and the bears were real far away and I couldn’t see much. That and all that fluffy fur concealed most features of them ._.
Giraffe: Yeah, that’s supposed to be a giraffe and not Nessi or something like a dinosaur _._
Manatee: From the side, very boring, but they never looked long enough towards me to draw them from the front with the cute faces :\
Rhino: I think this was a very decent drawing. The rhino was chewing and didn’t moved much so I had plenty of time to draw it ^^
Sea gull: Sitting within arm reach behind the bars doing nothing, perfect model to look at and draw. I think it’s a good work, but still not enough insight in feather to draw Pegasus ponies *hrmpf*
I think you still know Shiva. I’ve drawn her again, she is such a willing model and it’s fun to draw her. Hands are still something unfamiliar when you’re used to draw hooves, but over time I’ll get better with it, I promise!

Okay I admit, it was HARD to draw this and I’m still not satisfied. Tried the pose several times, tried the wings several more times and still *sigh* But it’s a start I might do better next time drawing a flying Pegasus. I really need to find a way of drawing wings that fits my way half between show and “realism”
