Here we have the rare snake pony Annie Konda in her natural habitat. As you can see her destinctive pattern matches perfectly her surroundings making it easy to sneak upon her prey and despite the hooves she’s capable of easily climbing any tree.
We can call us lucky to be able to get such a good shot on that exotic specimen.

Have done enough pictures today, so I decided to chillax a bit in “simple” drawings of how it might end, when a stud decides to mate with http://annie-konda.tumblr.com/ to evade his fate of being eaten and wasn’t able to satisfy the literally bottomless snake pony :x
Every creature has their own imagination of fun. Those four are demonstrating us today their way of having fun. Welcome to our first episode of
“How to treat your snake pony”
Episode 1: Hygiene
Snake Ponies don’t need much special care, some soap and shampoo is all they need for well being. Even when you forgot about the flannel is no need to worry. A snake pony is even more content, when it gets body washed.
Remember, snake ponies are very physical creatures and they just love to hug and cuddle all day long!
((Authors note: Just took me a puny 9h of work. 6 of them entirely for Annie. If you wonder what this mouse girl has to do on a pony picture. Well Joana is my RPG character for around 7 years already and I finally drew her the first time and was not using a picture of a mouse girl I someday found on the internet. Chances are she will show up a little bit more often, when she’s requested ^^ ~Ratnap))
Me: Lets search for an easy way to draw scales!
Internet: Lol dude there IS no easy way to draw scales, only different ways!
Me: Ah screw you Imma try out some of the techniques there.
*draws a cross pattern with dots in the middle and shades it*
Me: Holy fuck that looks like she’s in a net of ham!
*draws criss cross pattern*
Me: Way too big scales and they don’t look natural hurr durr -.-
*draws guidelines to help arrange the scales*
Me: That’s basically the same way as I did them before, now with guidelines *derp* Hey but it looks cleaner and it does goes faster a bit.
Screw you scales! Sometime I know how to shade and do them properly so that no weird depth effects occur!!!1111eleven

Seems that the snake mare is sated now and demands a belly rub. You better give her one, or end up inside of her faster than you think!

The scaling of scales, scales down to a point where any more scaling would rise the scale of my WTF level @.@
Seriously! I highly doubt that I would EVER do something with this much detail again, although it was quite fun to do so =:}
Yes, I drew each and every single scale AND I added light effects or shadow on each single scale and added some more lighting over it.
4 layers just for the scales and the lighting @.@
Well unless anyone has a great idea how to draw something like this in less than 5 hours of (almost) uninterrupted dedicated work I would like to hear about it :x
